Wilfredo Prieto, Beso

Beso consists of two stones, very big in dimension, united together side by side. Both are spherical in shape and touch in just one point, simulating a kiss. The presence of this artwork in a public park which hosts houses, offices and shopping centers, offers a link to the history of art and gardening.

The artist create visual metaphors using common objects, through which the most trivial objects undergo a shift of meaning as often suggested by the titles. The artist operates a reevaluation of the objects, changing also the orientation of the viewer gaze.
